Jungle Kayaking Expedition in Costa Rica.
Imagine to travel in pristine jungles, in tandem kayaks powered only by your will and muscles, traversing the old 1800s route, from Puerto Viejo ( Old Port ), in the tranquil waters of the Sarapiquí river, towards the Costa Rican border with Nicaragua, then along the San Juan River, then again into Costa Rican territory when we get into the Colorado River, to end in beautiful and world famous Tortuguero National Park. First/last day hotels and airport transfers are included in this trip.
In this 8 days kayak expedition inside the jungles of Costa Rica, you will have the chance to see tons of wildlife, including hundreds of varieties of birds, caymans, crocodiles, tapirs, pecaries, jaguars, pumas, manatee, and many more. Off course is not a zoo, where you have the animals living always in the same spot, but the area is so huge that all this species live here and it is possible to spot them.
Participants will travel in tandem seat on top kayaks, and they will be required to carry their personal gear plus group gear and food. There is a weight and space limit for personal gear that you are allowed to take.
